The vibrant flavours of our Colombian coffee, which undergoes whole cherry fermentation on the farm before being wet processed and dried on-site. The cherries are then transported to the ASPROLE facility and processed at the CENCOIC dry mill in Popoyan, ensuring meticulous quality throughout. With an impressive SCA score of 84.25 and grown at altitudes of 1600 to 1800 meters, this coffee offers a unique flavour profile that highlights its exceptional quality.
San Lorenzo de Caldono coffee is grown in the lush, forested mountains of the Cauca region, between 1500-2000 meters. Produced by La Asociación de Productores la Esperanza (ASPROLE) and exported by CENCOIC, a cooperative of indigenous reserves, this coffee is cultivated using sustainable practices and traditional washed processing.
The beans come from small farms like El Mango, where extended fermentation enhances sweetness, and Tres Pinos, an organic-certified farm known for its dedication to quality. Each cup offers a taste of the region's commitment to heritage and excellence, bringing a vibrant balance of fruitiness and depth.
